When travelling to Cologne one has the choice of several ways of transportation. The numerous and fast links to the city let your arrival become quite comfortable and easy. Ten motorways connect the city to all directions. From the Airport CologneBonn there are numerous train connections to the main station in the city center. From Frankfurt Airport, taking the fast "ICE" train on the new rail connection between Frankfurt and Cologne, you'll reach Cologne in less than one hour!

Motorway A59 in the direction of Köln (Cologne), please change to motorway A4 in the direction of Aachen. At the junction Kreuz Köln-West change to motorway A1, exit Frechen, turn left into “Dürener Straße” in the direction of Köln City Center/ Marsdorf, after 4.5 km the Holiday Inn Hotel is situated on the left.

By train from the airport:

With S13 it takes 16 minutes from Cologne-Bonn Airport to Cologne main station.

Arrival by plane (60 km from the Düsseldorf airport):

By train from the airport:

By train you will reach Cologne main station within 40 minutes. From the airport terminal please use the sky train to get to the railway station Düsseldorf airport (Bahnhof Düsseldorf Flughafen) which is at the east end of the airport area. There are trains which go straight to Cologne main station. To get to the hotel from Cologne main station, please follow the directions below (arrival by train). 

From motorway A4: at the junction Kreuz Köln-West exit the A1 in the direction of Euskirchen/Koblenz, exit Frechen, turn left into “Dürener Straße” in the direction of Köln City Center/Marsdorf, after 4.5 km the Hotel is situated on the left.

From motorway A1: at the junction Kreuz Köln-West, exit Frechen, turn left (from direction north), turn right (from direction Euskirchen), into “Dürener Straße” in the direction of Köln City Center/Marsdorf, after 4.5 km the Hotel is situated on the left.

Arrival by train (6 km from the main station):

From the main station (which is right beside the cathedral) take subway lines 16 or 18 to “Neumarkt”. At “Neumarkt” change to bus No. 136 (direction Hohenlind) and get off at “Kitschburger Straße”. Or go by tram No. 7and get off at “Dürener Straße/Gürtel”. The hotel is approx. 100 m away.  

The hotels Four Points and Euro Garden Hotel are close to the Cologne Cathedral and main station. Please start off from the main station and follow the instructions described above.
