Dormancy mechanisms in plants

Dormancy is the absence of growth and development under (temporary) favourable environmental conditions and can prevent the germination of viable seeds or the outgrowth of buds at the wrong time of the year.

Our research is focused on seed dormancy in Arabidopsis thaliana and aims to identify its molecular mechanisms.
